- Start with the longest words. Midnight, bedtime and morning take up the most room, so they are the easiest to spot.
- 3 words start with H. When you find an H, check it for hour, hands and half.
- 3 words start with M. When you find an M, check it for minute, morning and midnight.
- Look for doubled letters. Two of the same letter side by side stand out in a grid: noon.
